Nicolas is one of the owners of this great company, he is a warm and skillful person with a great sense of humor. He loves Ecuador’s culture, costumes and history. He speaks fluent French, English and has a basic knowledge of Portuguese.
Ely with a background education in Tourism is the person in charge of our office administration and sales department. With her enthusiasm and in coordination with Cris organizes your itineraries in Ecuador and operates them, guarantying you an unforgettable nature experience. A very knowledgeable guide with a background in Ecology and tourism, he has a decade of experience in the Amazon Rainforest and more than six years of experience birding elsewhere in the country. He currently leads birding tours in Ecuador, Colombia and the Guianas.Ā His passion for bird life is tremendous – he can identify many bird species with just the sound of there trill.
Juan Fernando, with a background in ecotourism, is one of our best guides, and he is specialist in culture, nature and horseback riding. All his childhood he was in contact with the nature, growing on himself a real passion for it. He speaks fluently English and also German. Also Juan Fernando loves photography and he has a special skill to get the best landscape shots.
One of the most experienced guides in Ecuador, AndrƩs has a background in biology and is a bilingual naturalist guide. He speaks English and Spanish fluently. He has tremendous enthusiasm, excellent knowledge of Ecuadorian history and a good knowledge of birdwatching.
Native of Costa Rica, living in Ecuador for over a decade. He has a degree as a Naturalist Guide and studied Ecology and Sustainable, both in Costa Rica. In Ecuador, Alejandro has conducted natural history studies, restoration projects, and field surveys throughout the country. He currently leads bird-watchers in the Tropical Andes (Colombia-Ecuador-PerĆŗ), and spends a good portion of the year managing the reserve where he lives with he’s wife, growing a food forest with organic cacao, and helping in producing top-class organic dark chocolate.
Santiago is one of our best guides, he is specialized on birding and mammals, with a background in Ecological Canopy at Yasuni National Park. He has worked in Tiputini Scientific Research Station and nowadays is leading the research about the Andean Bear on the Distrito Metroplitano de Quito- Ecuador. Santiago speaks English and Spanish and offers all his knowledge about flora and wildlife of Ecuador giving the opportunity to learn and to enjoy of an incredible experience guided by a friend.
One of our most experienced guides, Norby has a biologist, ecotourism and natural areas management background education and has been working in nature travel industry for over 25 years. He was the leader of successful ecotourism projects like Napo Wildlife Center in Yasuni National Park, which accomplished to be recognized as “One of the 10 Best Birding Areas of the World” at the British Birdwatching Fair. Norby has also been awarded by Metropolitan Touring as Best Naturalist Guide and has climbed several of the major snow capped volcanoes in Ecuador. Also his knowledge about birds is amazing!
